What is different from streaming mp2 of DTV and standard mp2

Hi everyone,

I Install the digital tuner on PC and catch a length of video in the hard disk.
The video file belong to mpeg-2.
Why can't the Windows midia player playback this file?
What is different from streaming mpeg2 of DTV and ordinary standard mpeg2?
What is different from the two encoder of format?
