What is a zigbee module and how to use it in development kit?

hello...i'm realy new to zigbee...could anybody explain to me...

1)what is zigbee module actually?
2)how to run the zigbee module with the others part in development kit?
3)how to relate the zigbee module/development kit with the real application of zigbee?
