Hello All

Well I have a radar sensor that counts number of vehicles in each lane. The installation guide asked me to perform a boresight check before installing the sensor. What is a boresight check and how do I perform it?

Thanks
Neyo

I'm not sure, but it sounds like they mean with the naked eye, see if the device is aligned? i.e. look through a bore, maybe with a lens.

This has to do with highly directional antennas. It means to measure the radiation pattern and determine if its peak is where you would expect from the mechanical configuration of the antenna. The pointing of the antenna is commonly done using the mechanical configuration.

Im using basic trignometry to make sure that my radar points at the rightlane.
