Modem protocols

Hi,

Does anybody know what AT commands are used for send and receive data?, and also wich is the format for sending a byte?

Also if somebody has any information about how to control a modem by an 8051 mC, it would be great if he/she could help me

Thx
ruli

Hi ruli,

Did you succeed to read the replies on post **broken link removed**
It's not a specific AT command for sending or recieving data. As long as CD signal is asserted (the two modems involved in communication are in synch) you can start sending and receiving.
What do you mean with : "which is the format for sending a byte? "
