What types of simulations that needed to be done in order to secure a good shutdown circuit?
Thanks,
Bouchy

shutdown circuit

You should simulate both shutdown and wake up.
And don't leave floating nodes in shutdown mode.

Re: shutdown circuit

You must add a power down transistor in your circuit, and activate it with 0 if PMOS and 1 if NMOS. So you would have a nul voltage or current in this node.

hope that's help you.

DC simulation to see the leakage current.

and use the pulse on/off the circuit to see the function.

Re: shutdown circuit

----check the DC current for Different supply voltages in shutdown mode. Generally by applying Active low (it can be active high) part goes into shutdown mode.

---Check the VIH and VIL levels of shutdown voltage.

---Transient response of the system (or part) with VIH and VIL Levels (how much time it takes to shutdown).
