hello board, I have used modbus in many places but I'm curious to learn more about profibus. Dose anybody have used profibus? what are the advantages over modbus? though I have not purchased technical documents of profibus but by reading some descriptions of this bus my first impression was it is dead more complex! what instances these networks really worth the money and time spent for them?
