Weighted series fed patch antenna array

Hi guys,

I'm interested in designing a 16 X 8 patch antenna array. and i would like to have the 16x1 array to be series fed. at the same time i want to weight the array to shape the array factor, but i can't seem to find literature abouthow it's done, and how i can change the patch dimensions to weight the array.
