Suppose a master following AXI protocol sent WVALID and WDATA well before corresponding AWVALID and AWADDR were sent. Can the corresponding AXI slave accept the WDATA before accepting corresponding AWADDR according to the AXI protocol? What benefit will be there if slave captures the WDATA before corresponding AWADDR is captured. Will not the slave have to wait for capturing the corresponding WADDR to process the captured WDATA?

That will depend on the slave implementation. If the slave is designed to support such a feature, then it will work. But I don't see any reason slaves should be designed to cover this feature.

What is the reason or advantage even to design it separately in a separate channel named write response? It cost to make an extra channel.
