want substitution of L298

Can you pls tell me, which chip can be substituted with L298????????? L298 and L297 is not available in my city.

L298 is full bridge driver , produced by ST MICROELECTRONICS.

Its little bit urgent. pls reply

There are several Mosfet based H bridge inverter.

You may write to ic manufacturer requesting for some sample pieces or place online order.

You could try the national LMD18245 3A, 55V DMOS Full-Bridge Motor Driver.

Look at h**p://www.embeddedtronics.com/computers.html for stepper
driver board.

if l298 is not available in ur city then i think
may be l293 is available
if it is also not available then use uln2003
or if it is also not available then make darlingtion pair

go for L293D. I think u can make driver ckt using some power transistors
