Hello Everyone;
What is the relation between VSWR and Return Loss? What is the ideal value of RL?

Return Loss (dB) = 20*LOG [(VSWR – 1) / (VSWR + 1)]
I general good value for Return Loss should be lower than -10dB (VSWR <= 2:1)

The acceptable level depends on your application. In "my" applications -15 dB is "good". If you are dealing with precision horns for satellite antennas "good" is -25 dB.

It DEPENDS............
