Hi guys,

I'm looking for the cost of 802.11b chip set when sold at large (~10^6 - 10^7) quantities. Big companies only give such information after NDA are signed and others do not give that infomation at all.

I'm also interested in knowing the time it could take top develop a WLAN (Wi-Fi) PCB card. Could it be done at first shot? How much could it cost (quantities as above)?

Does somebody know the contact information of a company that could develop such systems at reduced prices?

Is there anyone with experience in developing Wi-Fi portable systems? Somebody is creating acompany and asked me to post that here.
