hello,

ok but with 5v vref how you will get .001 v (1 mv) resolution/ it will be (4.9 mv)

l agree with this.
you can also want to display microvolt !
but with 10bits ADC,RESOLUTION is 4.9mV per bit.
Use an external 12 bits ADC (LTC1286,MAX1241,MCP3224....)
and +VREF=4.096V to get resolution of 1mV.
or Pic18F2523 wich has 12 bits ADC inbuilt instead of 10 bits.
maybe some new pic16f has 12b adc ?

hi alaalwi11 i just want to ask u i want to know what is the components of the voltmeter and its range
