In Circuit drawings there are many voltage sources like 2,5 V , 5 V or something like that.... But my supply voltage is always must stay at 24 V DC.
so Shall I reduce the voltage by putting some resistors or diodes, and gain 2,5 V from 24 V when necesseary and use it parrallel to the supply voltage line?or is there any other way .
Hi,
Yes, the other way is/are_usually the only good way_ is to use a "step down" converter, if you need power too.
If you need the 2.4 V only for "reference" voltage_you take practically no current from that_ you can apply a resistance attenuator...
Other possibility is; you buy/take a regulated/laboratory power supply and set the needed output voltages...
