hi all

what precautions we should take while routing voltage nets and current nets?

regards

siddu

Just consider the std. electrical effects:
  • voltage nets: generation of changing electrical fields (influence effects) and sensibility against changing electrical and magnetic fields
  • current nets: generation of - and sensibility against changing magnetic fields (inductive effects)

for voltage nets, such as bias and clock signal you need to do shielding, and driving issue caused by RC time constant, and IR drop.
for current nets, make sure the net is wide enough to sustain the current in which is flowing.
