Hi guys,

I recently downloaded some technology libs and they have an hspice folder with a .spf file inside with the gates as .SUBCKT. So my questions are:
1. In a .sp file i can include this .spf file and use the .SUBCKT as elements in my design and run simulations in Hspice. Am i right?
2. Can I use this .spf file in Virtuoso(Spectre) so to create gate-level designs there and simulated in Spectre?

Thank you for your time,
Harry

Hi,

I have successfully use spice model in spectre by adding
Code:
simulator lang=spice
At the beginning of EACH model file.
If I remember well, there is too an option (to be put in .cdsinit ?) to force spectre to use spice syntax, in the case you do not want to edit your model files.

Hope this help !
Regards,
RG
