i am doing my project of FPGA implementation on VIRTEX2p.....can somebody please tell me useful links to know about how to use the kit and its expansion io's
 

Best way is to take a look at VERTEX2P USER'S GUIDE which you can download from Xilinx site.

XUPV2P Development System_Hardware Ref-Manual.pdf

And specially of the Expansion IOs you have 2 types:
1- user installed headers
2- right angle expansion port. this is to be used with digilentinc modules, or you can use them as you want.

A third type of IOs is the high speed expansion port >> for some other modules.
