Viewsonic P225f dead after something exploding inside

Hi,

I have a problem with my Viewsonic P225f:

At first it started flickering with short intense flashes in the center of the image, occuring at ramdom. This kept on about 9 months.
Now something got burnt inside and it turned totally dead.

I opened the monitor and could see some bad solders on WH03. I resoldered this and tried replacing the fuse. The fuse goes and it's still dead.

I am almost totally new to repairing monitors so all help is much appreciated

Unless you have indepth knowledge of de-bugging monitors, do not attempt any repairs as it is the same as a telivision but without a tuner and IF sections. Your problem may be with a problem in the power section and the faulty Line output Transformer (Flyback).
