Hi Dear Gentlemen,

I start long time ago this thread

https://www.edaboard.com/threads/173080/.

Now, I've sold this old thread and I've started a new project.

Because I repair some old TV in B&W from 1940 to 1970 with vaccum tube, I needed to build a video scaler from Color PAL 625 line to B&W 819 line French Standart.

It was the HDTV from the stone age.

My design use a NEXYS2 500K from Digilent.

The system works fine=> see photos.

The system take the video from 625 PAL.

Then, with an TDA8708, I have a 8bit video signal sampled at 25Mhz.

I store these valus in 2 FIFO and then I creat the missing lines.

I add the good synchro signal to have a good 819 B&W French HD standart.

But, I have an other problem.

In fact, I can't see the real good quality of these old B&w screen because the original picture comes from 625 lines.

What I need is to put a real picture of 1024 dots per 737 line in the flasch of the NEXYS2.

I have a little soft who do an HEX file with any JPEG or bmp picture.

In fact, I can only put small picture on the ROM of the SPARTAN 3E => 128 * 64 :-(

I'm looking for a solution to put this HEX file into the flash of the NEXYS2.

Did someone have an idea?

Thank you very much for your help.
