video & image processing within vhdl

but not so much in video processing and how to be implemented using vhdl

well what have you implemented so far?

all of what i've made is
** extracting mean & standard deviation & covariance of each frame using matlab
-->this is done after reading video
-->retrieve info about the frame & converting it into grayscale....
** save these parameters in a file
** then, read this file through vhdl to make the required calculation within these necessary parameters

i want to build a component that do all of this without reading from file...

any idea??
