am tarun doin my final year b tech in Telecommunication in vellore tamil nadu india
my project title is "Driver alertness and Alcohol detection using FPGA"
i hv written the code for eye detection in MATLAB... i need to implement the algorithm in FPGA(Altera Cyclone II Development board)... ButFPGA does not support MATLAB code... is there any software tat converts MATLAB codes to verilog codes efficiently??
can we process image and video in Verilog??
i wud be grateful if anyone who provides me a solution ASAP
Sorry, it looks like i did something wrong.
Here is the link:
If you can not download, I will upload it for you.
The book is Design Recipes for FPGA, 2007.
Chapter 5: Images and High Speed Processing
Ch6: Embedded Processors
Ch13: A simple VGA interface
This book could be a desktop reference for researchers who use Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) as their hardware platform of choice for design with VHDL.
Ya thanks dmk... I ll check out de link n then msg u... By de way who s de author of de book tat u mentioned in ur reply?? Can u send me e mail address also?

The author of the book is Peter Wilson.
I don't work with Verilog, sorry. Anyway, it should be possible to do video and image processinig in Verilog, too. Both have very similar possibilites.
Which link do you have in mind?
hi dmk... i checked out the link tat u gave me... but dis s the message tat popped up "Sorry but you are not authorized to view or download this Attachment"... wats ther in the link tat can help me??
Hi,
