Variable Gain AMplifier

Hi

I need a VGA operating from DC to 500MHz with a 50dB range. It must be low noise. Is there a IC that will do the job or would I need to design something myself? If so is there any info on the subject? Not an expert in this field so hoping for someone who knows a bit about it to give me some advice.

Thanks in advance

2 kinds. a digital @ 45dB gain.

You can also check IF amplifiers in google or related analog sites.
