Dear all,
How can I know if the current is constant in a MOSFET due to pinch-off or velocity saturation? Is there any way to find that out? TIA

You know the voltage criterion for saturation region ("pinch-off", Vds > Vgs-Vth ) , it's easy to find out if you are there. Typically drain current will be further reduced by velocity saturation, respectively both effects take place.
