Hi. need to generate controllable frequency say from 10Hz to 30Khz and amplitude sine wave (0-2V). When i mean controllable i mean this through a signal of say 0-10V.How is this to be done?

A function generator as XR-2206 can be used to generate the variable frequency sine wave, an analog multiplier (e.g. AD633) provides the amplitude control.

Variable gm OTAs as LM13700 or FETs as variable resistors offer a more basic way to achieve the said behaviour, but also involving a more complex circuit.
