value for for rotating the steppermotor in code

while coding in c in 8051 microcontrolller how should we put the value in code?by using datasheet of steppermotor or is there standard value for the code?

Value of what?

What kind of stepper motor? What kind of driver? Ramping? Microstepping?
 

Hi,
U r connecting the stepper motor to some port pins right? Now you just make the purticular port pin to high or low as it is... it'll directly fetch into stepper motor connections...

For example, P0.1 = 0 means Port0.1 pin as low. So 0v 'll go to stepper motor at the purticular pin connection...
