UTOPIA to Ethernet. How?

Which solution I need for
interface between ADSL chipsets
with UTOPIA and Ethernet?
ASIC`s, CPU?

Motorola PowerQUICC CPUs have Utopia and Ethernet ports. There are others out there too.

You want to implement an IP DSLAM. Intel has a solution with IXP425. But, it's based on VxWork RTOS.

Recently I had the same problem.
I want to build a system that perform a data transfer between my ADSL chip set modem ATU-C; Utopia L2 and my PC. The first solution is to use one network processor like INTEL or motorola, for build a ethernet interface.
But it's possible to use a interface UTOPIA/PCI, for example with IDT77222.
IDT77222 is a ATM controller that perform both AAL, SAR and the ATM layer protocol function.

Fpga may be a good solution. The Mot CPU with Utopia and Ethernet could run at line speed, espeically in Utopia, limited by the performance of CPM. I have designed a device that could transfer 24 ethernet ports to ATM. Please go and see the web site www.raisecom.com
 

Infineon has chipsets that directly from adsl line to ethernet. You may want to consider. We used their vdsl <-> ethernet chipset before. It is quite smooth to integrate.

What chipset do you mean?
Where I can find datasheet?
 

We have used their Packet Over DSL chipset like 22834. But it is for VDSL. For ADSL i just took a look at their website, it seems their PSB50x has the similar feature. The interface is directly ethernet. Below is the highlighted feature from their web site. Hope this helps.

You are right. This is a CPE solution. For co solution, i don't have much experience to recommend.

Just out of curious, as co device like dslam normally should be placed at telco office, individuals seldom need to tackle that. If you only want to reuse your telephone line inside small company as ethernet backbone, i think VDSl maybe a better choice.

A good solution for ATU-C (CO) applications is the OCTANE by Conexant
It support: ADSL, ADSL2 and SHDSL adn have 8 ADSL ports with utopia interface

Is there any single that can convert the Ethernet back to ATM in any phsyical format like E1 or STM-1 very easy ?
 

Globespan NP is a good solution.
