Hello all,
Has anyone used the PIC16F877 with a 8Mb DiskOnCHip from M-Systems (www*m-sys*com) ?
Any posts on using it with 8051 are also welcome.
Thanks.

That´s not possible, the driver for the DiskonChip is proprietary.
M-SYS said that the internal register structure of the diskonchip is confidential.

Sorry.

hard disk

Thats right, the disk on chip have a IDE interface, so it will work as a Hard disk...
