using astro2004 for 2007 lab

I'm a beginner for astro . when I do the lab3_placement can not detach scan chain. ERROR .... do not exit when I do the lab4-cts
using atareportsummary for PPO cell. the setup slack is 10000
I do timing data check 8142 path have not constrants.

the reason is the software ?

Hi,

Slack shows 10,000 when u dont load SDC properly. Check ur log for ataLoadSDC outputs any error.

thank u . but I do the lab instruction . open library design_orca ,
open cell PPO, then ataReportsummary . the sdc is not load with the cell open?

astro 2004 tools->data prep netlist in -> DEF in
library orca
cell Floorplanned_Good
DEF scan.def
OK

terminal display
.... does not exit
.... does not exit
.... does not exit

today I find the command in script : read_def
can display a window different from DEF in
can work correctly

but when I open library cell , preplace -> scan chain: optimize/delete scan chain ...
click on "default"
click on "delete only"
OK

diplay:
Detach Scan Chain
Detach scan chain 2_SG1 ...
Total number of edges ..... 75
Number of scan pins .......71
ERROR: failed to disconnect net ............................................
Detach Scan Chain failed.

anyone know that?

did u do scan trace before detaching the scan chain.. Try axgScanTrace command.

I don't know how to scan trace .
but when I use astro 200606 , it's ok.
