I use the PIC family microcontrollers to control the low power DC motors.
In this case ,I use the Magnetic-Relay to join the microcontroller low power pulse to the DC motors electric power. Now i want to use the AC powerfull motors.
Pls guide me to use the Triac & Optocoupler & other parts to control the Power AC motors.
With thanks.

Control of DC motors is relatively ease.
With AC Motors it is a different story.
If you would like me to I can go into more detailed explenation..but:
My shortes advice is this: get yourself the cheapest Variable Speed Drive with serial port (RS-232 or RS-484) and through this serial port you can take full controll over 3 phase AC motor including soft start, speed ramp up and down, torque,....etc.

What is your AC motor? Single phase or 3-phase? Induction or PMSM? Pls advise.
