I want to build a pc usb based oscillscope with pic18f2550 act as HID device.
adc part using ads831 and CDCE913 - Programmable 1-PLL VCXO Clock Synthesizer with 3.3-V LVCMOS Outputs act as variable clock input to ads831, for different time base usage . But as sampling process goes on pic18f2550 is sending signal data continously to pc , if I change the time base to another value in pc (a visual c++ enivronment) , how can I download a certain value from pc to inform 18f2550 so as to change the clock input to ads831? As HID data bus is occupied by 18f2550 , it is sending data to pc ! Any comments are welcome !!

Using ADS831 would be a waste unless you add fast external memory + maybe CPLD to collect samples.
With HID you can't stream data faster than 64kB/s (and BULK transfers would not be impressive either), so real-time data streaming would be bad option.

Can cypress cy7c64613 (which is a USB 2.0 device) running at full dulplex ???

So if the sample rate is 80Msps , what is the best (USB) transfer rate to PC ????

your scope has already been made or so ...

**broken link removed**

you can sample some 60KHz max.

another faster one:
**broken link removed**
claims to reach some 200ksps ...
