HI,

from the USB there is four connection available
1. VDD
2. D+
3. D-
4. Gnd

I connected as follows

USB-- VDD(3.3V) ====> controller --- VDD(3.3V)
D+ ====> 80th pin D+
D- ====> 79th pin D-
gnd ====? Gnd

it has to connect directly to PIC or we have to use any IC in between them.,

And what is the use of Vbus in PIC24EP ic?

could anybody give the basic circuit connection with controller?

You shouldn't disregard the PIC datasheet any longer. It's describing the purpose of each USB related pin rather detailed. As a first step, you should become clear about intended device operation, USB-powered or self-powered. VBUS pin will be needed for attachment detection in a self-powered application.
