Hi Guys

Please help me out with the USB coms with PIC32MX250F128D.
Up to this point I am using a USB female port and my connections are

USB (Female port) : PIC32MX250F128D
--------------------------------------------
Pin 4 (GND) : GND
Pin 3 (D-) : Pin 9 (RB11/D-)
Pin 2 (D+) : Pin 8 (RB10/D+)
Pin 1 (VCC) : Pin 10(RB12/Vusb3v3)

Please advice if I am missing anything

And I am also using a 8Mhz external X-tal

Yap I would like to use both of them. To do that what I supposed to do in terms of connections and I have no Idea what to do with VSUB and VBUS.

do you want seperate device and host USB connectors or OTG which figures out what is connected

have a look at the USB PicTail fact sheet
https://www.microchip.com//DevelopmentTools/ProductDetails.aspx?PartNO=AC164131

it gives the schematics for all three so just copy their circuit

VUSB (not VSUB) is connected to 3.3v, VBUS to pin 1 and D- and D+ to pins 2 and 3

also worth looking at are the PIC32 USB Starter Kit II User's Guide schematics
