Hi guys

I need help in designing a super-cap supply backup circuit in my design.
How should I use the super capacitor in my design and how can I charge it without using a charger IC like LTC3536.

BR

Load it with admissible constant current and limit the voltage at a secure value.

It depends largely on the design you are powering but the simplest way is with a resistor and diode in parallel. The diode is wired so it allows the capacitor to discharge into the supply line but not draw current from it. The resistor value is chosen to limit the current you allow to charge up the capacitor.
