I AM IMPLEMENTING THE PAPER
A SIMPLE TRANSMIT DIVERSTY TECHINIQUE FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
BY SIAVISH M ALAMOUTI IN MATLAB.
THE PROBLEM IA FACING IS THAT I AM USING PSK AND QAM MODULATION
THE CODE WORKS WELL WITH PSK MODULATION BUT WHEN IT IS UP TO QAM IT DOESNT GIVE ME CORRECT BER FOR M>4 I AM USING EQUATION NUMBER 4 OF THAT PAPER FOR ML DETCTION

yeah u are right the problem was that matlab was considering the imaginary values as well when i try to calculate the ber it was not cosidering the values with imaginary parts
