Hi,

Where I can find a special integrated circuit suitable
for ultrasonic piezoceramics. I want to us it in a water
flowmeter.

Thank you

I used a CMOS drive type. If the power level is low, use a 4049 driver with all gates in parallel. For higher power, use discrete MOSFETs in the totem pole configuration.

If the ceramc is floating, use push pull type drive with the bridge configuration.

NS had, I hope they still stock a special IC for this purpuse. The data sheet, as I recall was in one of the 3 books called Linear.

Hi

I use MAX232 and 4049 to drive US in low power.
Bridge driving with MAX232 gives you 20V peak to peak from 5V supply.

LM1812 from NS is more than obsolete (hard to find !)

Regards
