UART problem in LPC2148`

I am working on LPC2148 for my project ..
I am using C code and i want to display the output onto PC..
There is no error in my program and i can able to download the code into flash memory but i couldn't get any output display..
I am using Windows 7... I have also downloaded the files for hyper terminal but still i couldn't get the display..
Even if i run the basic hello program i couldn't get the display..
Basically i am new to Embedded.. Please Kindly give me your suggestions...

I just want to check basic thing. I think May be there could be possibility of wrong connection.
1. So can you tell or show me about your interface between controller and PC.
2. At what baud rate you are trying to communicate?
3. Is your serial port working?
