I am a feed provider and wanted to control the BCD996P2 and monitor the audio over the Internet. The problem was that RadioFeed ( using channel tags) and ProScan both wanted to use the one com port I have available. So I could not do both at the same time. The solution was very simple. https://www.serial-splitter.com/ (Serial Splitter) is a virtual com port driver that allows you to share one com port with more than one device or program. It is very simple to use but filled with features. I can now connect to ProScan over IP and control the scanner plus monitor the audio using ProScan client and still have channel tags. When I add a second scanner all I have to do is generate more virtual com ports and connect the scanner. I am writing this in case I can help someone with this problem. If you find this helpful post a comment.
