b/w camcorder

hello

i want to build a miniature tv receiver using a camcorder viewfinder and a tv receiver ic. is there any "analog tv receiver ic" ,using which we can tune a signal manually and drive the viewfinder,so that we can see the video in the viewfinder. any ideas? please help.

Is not an easy job:

You can use for TV tuner CXA3235N from Sony,
http://www.datasheetcatalog.org/datasheet/sony/a6802000.pdf

and for IF and video detector M52342 from Renesas (or Mitsubishi)
http://documentation.renesas.com/eng/products/assp/rej03f0165_m52342fpds.pdf

Both IC’s are in production.

Just for fun probably much easier is to get a cheap 5” B&W TV with manual tuning (I’ve seen with $50 brand new), and use the internal TV circuit (tuner+IF+detector).
