I'm an newcomer on this ADCs, I know only coarse how they works. And I want ask some interesting questions! Can somebody help me? Thanks

My input is signal-end. My (p) input's common mode is 0.425V and my peak-to-peak is 0.8V. In the chip, my input is 0.4V so the input has some offset. I run simulation and my comparator's input's ENOB is bigger than 4.5. But my AD output's ENOB is 3.7. Why? If My (p) input's common mode is 0.4V, my AD output's ENOB is bigger than 4.5. Why is the offset doesn't affect S/H's output? Thanks.
