Hi,
can anyone help me?
what is TUF (Transformer Utilization Factor ??? I think) mean?
and what is it used for?

Transformer Utilization Factor (TUF) can be used to determine the rating of a transformer secondary.

It is determined by considering the primary and the secondary winding separately.

TUF is the ratio of DC power provided by a rectifier to the average of the VA ratings of the primary and secondary.
~
TUF = Pdc/((VAp + VAs)/2) = 2Pdc/(VAp + VAs).
~
TUF is a function of the rectifier topology.
