Hey everyone,

I'm getting my feet wet in electronics and am trying to design a three-switch lighting circuit. I'm sure that's an inadequate description, so an example is an overhead light in a room that can be turned on or off with either one of two switches at either end of the room. It's a very standard circuit and I found a schematic for how it works, but I couldn't figure out how to build a circuit that would allow me to put a third switch in the middle of the room so that I could turn the lights on or off with any of the three switches.

Any advice?

Thanks,
kael

All what you need is so called "4-WAY SWITCH" .. see picture below ..
Between two standard 3-way switches you can install as many of them as you like ..

And, btw, it has nothing to do with electronics - this is just pure electrical wiring concept ..

Regards,
