hi,

i m doing my first project on robotics. i need to turn the robot for predefined angles when it come across a obstacle ( given from the program ). i think to use HMC5883L Triple Axis Compass Magnetometer Sensor Module . but i have read that this magnetometer can also use as a metal detector..so can any metal obstacle interfere with the angle measurement which i need to take precisely.

thanks

A magnetometer has various purposes. It is also used for educational purposes. Gem Systems in Ontario is one of the best companies that offer advanced magnetometers.
