Hi,

What is the formula for calculating the transmitted power by a coil inductor?
For example in 13.56MHz RFID systems, what is the formula for calculating the power transmitted by the antenna of the Reader.

I think the transmitted power by a coil inductor is the same as the reactive power generated by the coil which is equal to 0.5*L*w*I^2, where w is the radian frequency, and I is the magnitude of the current flowing in the coil.

Please help me by providing a reference for your answer.

Thanks,

Correct !. The more turns your coil will have the stronger the field. Make sure your coil is matched to your TX and RX input otherwise energy is lost !. regards, Paul.

Hi,

Anymore answer???
What is the formula for calculating the transmitted or radiated power by a coil inductor???

Thanks
