I have had a problem for some time.

my board got short-circuited for my welder.

the welding company doesn´t exist anymore.

Now i want to repair my welder, since it isn´t cheap to replace it.

I have a bipolar transistor called ST-4 wich i can´t find anywhere. the middle leg is not connected to the circuit, and have been cut. then i have a BC237B wich is common.

Do anyone know where i can find such transistor, with the specific name ST-4?

Hi,

it´s hard to help with your information.

pleas attach picture of the "transistor", and both sides of the PCB.
Pleas give informations - as much as you know. (voltages, current, what is this circuit for?....)

Because you said "one leg is cut" I don´t think it is a transistor. Maybe it is a similar case...
