Transister Detector (Digital electronics project for beginner)

Hello experts!
How are you all?

I have digital electronics in this semester but now my semester is up to end. So I have been given to create project. I am thinking of design the transistor detector. Means, if I place transistor in the circuit then LED should glow if transistor is alright. And if transistor is bad then LED should be off. I think this can be a simple project. But I don't know where should I start.

My senior told me to design as it is a simple project. So experts, help in design this simple project.

Remember,
TTL should be consider only.

Oh yes, It is for NPN and PNP.

Hey you can google it right you will lot of options.

I suggest you to go through some sites, look how different the projects are.
