I am using the CC1120 **broken link removed**kit but unfortunately Texas Instruments only support this module with MSP430 example code. Because of that I am having extremely difficulty writing code for this RF module using the Tiva 123 launchpad.

I have contacted TI with regard to this problem but I've received no response. I am interested in performing PER tests, BER tests, sniff mode tests or any kind of code that uses TivaWare or any other supported library with Tiva123 launchpad.

I am a beginner to the RF and also to the embedded world. I would so much appreciate any help. Thank you.

Number of Channels Available in CC1120

For an application deployed in a forest, I would like to have the highest range possible. I wouldn't mind sacrificing energy, bandwidth or speed for higher range.

Having said that, I am interested in a data rate of 1.2kbps. Optimised for these requirements, I would like to know how many max channels are possible under these circumstances for a cc1120, its RX filter BW and a potentially better modulation format. An explanation as to how these things effect my target; range, would be much much appreciated.

Kindly help.

TI mentions that they are not making code examples for this specific IC for ARM platform. :( I wonder if it would be a good idea to start an open source project perhaps since this is one of the best modules.
