I have actually just looked into Win4Lin Pro and found out that
it would be possible to run a Windows XP system within Linux.

Has anyone actually looked into this program and performance
specifications to compare Win4Lin against a normal win?

Re: Win4Lin Info?

imho, better use WMware

Re: Win4Lin Info?

you can also use qemu which is free to use.

Win4Lin Info?

I used Win4Lin. It works, but can not compare to
straight windows system. you must remember,
any virtual machine, you have to give up some of the
RAM. Where a straight OS will run on full RAM.
And some of the hardware is still giving problems as well.
