Can Anyone help me in understanding the ringing effect in the power analysis/calculations.

Sure, you can view the power distribution as a collection of distributed RLC elements, in case low resistance wide wires are used and high-frequency switching of the load current is present (like in moddern ics) the L starts dominating the R and you can approximate the power distro as an LC structure. LC structures are oscillatory in nature, so when stimulus (the switching load) is applied, there is a lot of rining (oscillations). Thats a very high level explanation. For details, refer to any basic textbook that has coverage of RLC circuits.

At hight frquencies, inductance come into picture. If circuit is having resistance and and capacitance, the with tgis inductor it will create second order syetem. This second order syetem will make oscillations, as u will see in control system. after some timr it will be damped. This is called ringing.


because of this power will be waste, as the timre current flows thorugh the circuit is more.
