THROW SOME LIGHT ABT BASICS OF ASIC AND FPGA. WHT IS THE CORE AREA THT TWO TECHS ARE STANDING APART.

The basics really.. get a book which deals with ASIC by Smith. It explains details abt ASIC and its design methodologies, take a look at VLSI system design books.. it clearly explains abt FPGA and ASICs
