-Eagle is easy to learn can be used in professional centers but have some lack of features for complicated designs.For example You can not use signal arrows .You need to connect every line to each pin and this makes schematic seem to be non-esthetic and hard to observe
-I know Orcad is popular but never worked wit it
-Protel is BEST one , however it really needs more time to learn it. It is hard to design a PCB in one day with it before you know it.Professions mostly use protel.
I was using Eagle it was easy however as time passes and I produce new complicated projects I thought that Eagle does not meet my requirements now I am working and (still learning indeed)Protel. It is awesome.
But do not quit easly , when I first install Protel few years ago , after 1 hour later I uninstalled it since it seemed very complicated....
And a last word: Always , learn to create your own lib.
