Tft lcd interfacing with microocntroller

hi!
i am starting my new project interfacing tft lcd with microcontroller ...i have work with 16x2 lcd in past .. but for TFT LCD is new for me Please guide me how can i start or provide me some tutorial...

Please mention the part number of the Display that you are planning to use.....Some display need to special driver to be written .....Also as I understand you are using TFT LCD then I think you have Graphic Display so first work will be selecting the proper Micro-controller for that.....

Can u suggest me TFT lcd which is widely used in industries . i found datasheet of tft lcd after searching on net.

i am using pic18f series microcontroller to interface with tft lcd..

i have not worked with glcd , i have worked with only simple 16x2,20x4 lcd..

Hi Krish,

I went through the data sheet that you attached but as I understand it is the QVGA resolution display i.e. 240x320 pixel of display data..... this require to have that much data to be stored on your MCU if you expect a full image is shown on the display ..... the other option is used some kind of communication to send the data to MCU like RS232.... there is protocol for communication with display is given by the vendor .....you need to follow that and write the driver in your MCU for communication..... However I went to farnell site even but they says this component is not available in stock....What I will suggest you to do go the local market and buy Graphic display and then based on datasheet you can program that
